The professional association for design. Boston Chapter

Overview

AIGA, the professional association for design, stimulates thinking about design, demonstrates the value of design, and empowers the success of designers at each stage of their careers. AIGA’s mission is to advance designing as a professional craft, strategic tool, and vital cultural force. Founded in 1914, AIGA remains the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design, and is a nonprofit, 501©(3) educational institution.

AIGA chapters are local organizations that share the mission of AIGA, and are formed by geographical region. AIGA Boston is the 6th largest chapter in the nation, and is moving into its 27th year as a chapter. Our Boston Board and Advisory Board are run by 26 dedicated volunteers with 100 collective years of board experience among them. We operated with over 40 volunteers last season (over and above the Board and Advisory Board).

Our Boston chapter is dedicated to creating collaborations and partnerships with organizations to make meaningful connections for our members and those organizations, enriching and informing the experiences and content of our activity.
